DESCRIPTION
The PC 6 5 0 5 isa monolithic oscillator/power-driver, specifically designed for small formfactor,
isolated power supplies in isolated interface applications. It drives alow-profile, center-tapped transformer primary from a 3V to12 V DC powersupply. The secondary can be wound to provide any is
olated voltage based on transformer turns ratio.
The PC6505 consists of an oscillator followed by a gatedrive circuit that provides
the complementary output signals to drive the ground referenced N-channel powerswitches. The
internal logic ensures break-before-make action between the two switches. Theenable pin can on
or off output.
The PC6505 is available in a small SOT23-5 package, andis specified for operation at
temperatures from –40°C to 125°C.
