Current Opportunity:

Staff Electrical Engineer
Layout/Firmware

Lay out compact wireless consumer audio devices, program operational firmware.

Skills:

• Layout experience: ORCAD Capture, ORCAD Layout, and/or PADS Layout is a plus.
• Experience and skills with microcontrollers and firmware programming in Assembly or "C".
• Digital, Analog and/or RF electronic design ability.
• Protoyping, debugging, and rework of small, dense SMT PCBs (0402/0201) is a plus.
• High-level software skills are a plus: "C", Perl, PHP, Java, UNIX and PC environments.

Responsibilities:

• Schematic drafting, board layout.
• Write firmware and/or software for product operation and user interface.
• Document prototypes, procedures, and problems.
• Participate in product design from specification through prototyping.
• Turn on boards and debug hardware.
• Maintain product documentation.

Background:

• EE or BS with EE experience.
• 3-5 years working experience.
• MS EE is a plus.

Misc:

• Must enjoy fast-moving, close-knit environment of a small, startup company.
• Must be adaptable to flexible roles and changing goals.
