Power Supply Engineer
The candidate will work in PASD's Shanghai facility as a power supply engineer and will work with design teams to generate power delivery procurement specifications. The PSU engineer will work with a PSU vendors and ODMs to design and validate product. The candidate will be required to perform system level power budgeting including DC voltages, min/max/typical currents, cross regulation tables, and efficiency. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of desktop system components, architecture, and subsystem interaction. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of the following: Intel's desktop system roadmap, power conversion, power budgeting, power testing/data acquisition, development and execution of test/validation plans, thermal/mechanical analysis and the understanding of how PSU heat affects cooling capability of the chassis, shock/vibe testing and the affect on PSU components, system acoustics and airflow impedance. This position requires an advanced electrical engineering degree with an emphasis in power or analog electronics and experience with power supply design or development.

Engineering Manager
The successful candidate will provide leadership in the start up, hiring and training of a new team of 8-10 individuals to support PPG-Enterprise System Architecture’s server development in Asia.  As the site manager for the PPA team, the manger will plan, provide resources and direct activities of the team in the development of cooling solutions for processors & chipsets and the specification and validation of power supplies for next generation servers.  He/she will be responsible for meeting schedules, standards, and cost goals.  Requires thorough knowledge of analog design and thermal/mechanical engineering tools. Widely applies principles, theories and concepts, and draws on a cumulative knowledge base from previous experiences to determine an appropriate course of action in development of a product.  
The candidate must have established industry contacts in power supply and cooling solution development.  The applicant will be expected to maintain those ties and influence suppliers the industry in new concepts and initiatives.  Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions.  Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues.  Requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to protect Intel Intellectual Property. Plans, prioritizes and directs work of subordinates based on organizational goals and ensures the timely completion of tasks and projects, which involves forecasting staff and resource requirements.  Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations.  Consults with senior management as needed and maintains a close working relationship to the EPAE/TME organizations by providing the necessary engineering collaterals.  Excellent written and oral English and Mandarin skills required.  Bachelor’s Degree/4+ years, Master’s Degree/3+ years or Ph.D. Degree/and 2+ years experience
