Responsibilities:

· Design IC devices in conformance with both thecompany Systems and customer requirements and sound design principles;
· lace and route (layout) of integrated circuits to meet design requirements;
· repare project evaluations in conformance with Company policies/procedures; 
· rovide CAD assistance to customer engineers and new staff as required and/or requested. Keep up-to-date with all technical memos; 
· Attend peer reviews and provide feedback to ensure success of peer designs

Requirements:

· Graduate degree (Master or h.D.) in electrical engineering, applied physics, or computer science; excellent first-degree can also be considered. 
· Good knowledge and work experience in CMOS ASIC design, especially in SoC?methodologies, familiarity in the use of modern cad tools; 
· Good knowledge of VHDL or Verilog HDL coding; 
· Good communication skill and teamwork spirit; 
· Good analytical and debugging skills; 
· Extremely disciplined in conducting checks and audits; 
· Understands follow well proven methodologies; 
· Strong in first principles; 
· Fluent English and Mandarin; 
· Correct attitude in winning biz for Agere; 
· Hard working with good team work spirit; 
· Self-motivated to learn and improve on new products, technologies and management skills
