AnalogicTech offers a complete portfolio of products for smartphones and other handheld equipment to fully optimize available energy, minimize losses, and prolong battery life.
For Li-ion polymer batteries, linear & switching charging solutions are available with the option of an external or internal charging device. Our family of PMUs, with battery charging LDOs and power switching converters, integrate all required power functions in a smartphone, including backlight, core power and low noise RF supply needs. Our line of low noise switchers provide the power needed for PA amplifiers. AnalogicTech also offers supercap Flash LED drivers to prolong battery life as well as ultra-small discrete TrenchDMOS transistors to control the charging current.
A more integrated approach is available with single or multiple load switches offering integrated level shift, slew-rate control, and protection from over-current and over-temperature conditions. For the microprocessor core, media processor, and baseband chipsets, miniature, high-efficiency DC/DC converters and high-speed LDOs are available with supervisory circuits to monitor the supplies.
For color display and keypad backlighting, AnalogicTech’s family of charge pump products drive and control current and brightness in white LEDs. Finally, application-specific charge pump products are available for driving color RGB diodes, camera flash diodes, TFT biasing, and USB On-the-Go interfaces. |
